XTREME TRAFFIC BOT
The sales page of the XTREME TRAFFIC BOT claims to “overnight” transform your Clickbank earnings, and earn you $449,000 a month.
OK, so what actually IS this product? The sales page doesn’t tell you much; once you actually buy the “bot” you get a bit more explanation:
“XTB has a wealth of features designed to assist you in getting, capturing and converting traffic. The Designer Features allow you to create great Squeeze Pages and Web Forms, Banners and Offer Pages quickly. Work visually without needing to know any HTML! The Writer Feature helps to provides you with relevant content as automatically as possible!
To access the content generator, open the Writer using the pencil icon found at the top of the application window. Once opened, you will see the words ”Generate Content” in the centre heading. Click “Generate Content” to open the content generator in a new window.”
Ok, so it’s an easy content and graphics creator. But take a look at the screen shots to see what kind of software we’re dealing in here. It LOOKS very easy to operate; but in essence, it’s as much use as a chocolate coffee pot or an ashtray on a motorbike.
The software has an unsophisticated interface like a kid’s “first software” and has so many bugs in it, there are crashes and C++ errors galore. We did e-mail support, but got no reply. There are no instructions apart from the basic installation ones.
In theory you could write an “article” by putting in a key word, and the “bot” will find all sorts of completely random paragraphs from various websites that has your keyword in. Then you’re supposed to “snip” these random paragraphs together into what they call an “article”, but what we’d call a mess of random material that may get rated by some search engines but surely will get rejected by every article site worth its salt.
It’s also got an Advertising Banner feature — you can choose the size of banner you want and it presents you with a blank form to use in designing your banner. Yes, blank. You might as well do this in Photoshop or Illustrator as you’d normally do.
eMail Swipe — This is quite reasonable. It provides a format for you to use in writing your emails for your promotions. It includes subject line, first line, your affiliate link, text for 1st paragraph, test for 2nd paragraph, closing paragraph, signature paragraph, plus a P.S. paragraph
Mini Site — First you select a niche (choice of over 150) or ask the software to select a niche for you, then you pick a page layout of default, left navigation or right navigation. Then you add your Page Title, Main Keyword, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, Header Text, and Footer text. You can click on a sidebar and it will tell you what these items are. You can also enter images URL’s and select text, link and background colours. When you are done, you have a reasonable page….but it’s never going to be as good as if you did it yourself in Dreamweaver, X4 or KompoZer.
It also has features to help you create opt-in forms, sales pages, squeeze pages and to add insult to injury a “free form design” page. There certainly aren’t any professional templates to help distract anyone’s creativity! You might as well open up old Windows Paint.
There is a “Getting Started” document, which has just 2 pages of basic set up material, then the rest is general internet marketing information, which is useful for beginners.
Conclusion: Please feel free to buy this product to try it out if you don’t believe us; but we honestly think there are far better marketing products out there for your money.
Sorry, we can’t give links to products we do not recommend
